Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to oversee and manage our sales team across all regions in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers and partners. This role is crucial for achieving our company’s sales targets and expanding our market presence in the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
  • Manage and lead a team of sales professionals across all regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of sales activities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, as well as track expenses related to the department’s operations.
  • Provide training, coaching, mentoring, support for professional development of team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the banking or financial services sector is required.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding national/regional level sales targets while driving significant growth initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate teams towards high performance outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written; adept at building rapport with clients & stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills; capable of interpreting data effectively for strategic decision-making.
  • ‘Ability to work independently while also being an integral part of a collaborative team environment.
  • ‘Willingness to travel frequently as required by the role.
