The Role
As the Senior Procurement & Contracts Specialist, you will report directly to the Senior Procurement & Contracts Manager and operate as a senior individual contributor, providing essential support to projects and operations through end‑to‑end procurement, EPC contract administration, and commercial risk management.
Based in Brisbane, you will partner closely with Project, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver compliant sourcing outcomes, manage supplier performance, and own post‑award contract management across live project environments.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and deliver end‑to‑end procurement activities across renewable energy projects, including EOI, RFP/RFT, evaluation, negotiation and award
- Act as the primary contract specialist for allocated EPC and supply contracts, supporting projects from award through to close‑out
- Manage tender communications, clarifications, probity and governance requirements
- Negotiate contracts and support mobilisation in collaboration with Project and Commercial teams
- Lead post‑award contract administration, including milestones, variations, extensions, KPIs, claims support, renewals and contract close‑out
- Proactively identify, manage and mitigate commercial, financial and supply chain risks
- Manage supplier and contractor performance, including corrective actions and dispute support where required
- Support EPC delivery teams with practical commercial and contractual advice during execution
- Oversee purchasing, delivery and inventory interfaces to ensure alignment between procurement, operations and asset management requirements
- Provide procurement and contract management guidance to operational teams in a fast‑paced, project‑delivery environment
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Law or a related discipline

- Experience managing variations, extensions of time, claims support and supplier performance
- Experience using ERP and procurement systems (SAP or similar) and MS Office
- A collaborative, pragmatic approach with strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
- Experience in energy, renewables, resources or major infrastructure projects
