Machine Operator (Roll forming)

Apex Steel Supplies in Holtze, Darwin NT is seeking a motivated and experienced machine operator to join our team! If you have worked with roll forming machines before, like to be part of a strong team while taking responsibility for your own area, this job is for you!

Responsibilities

• Independently operating our DCPlus Roll forming Machines
• Setting up jobs, completing changeovers and keeping machine running smoothly
• Producing roofing sheets with high quality standards and to exact dimensions
• Jumping in on other machines as needed (e.g. Folders)
• Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and safe state

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as machine operator in the building products area, preferably on roll forming machines
• Confidence to run machines independently
• Forklift Licence preferred

Conditions & Benefits

• Full-time permanent position on dayshift
• Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, overtime available
