Apex Building Products in Helensvale is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to take ownership of our branch and drive its continued success.
This is more than a management role – it’s an opportunity to lead a business. You’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the site, balancing sales growth, customer relationships, operational excellence, inventory management, safety, and team leadership.

Someone who can build strong relationships with customers, support and develop their team, and make commercial decisions that deliver results. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, hire and develop a team of 20+ staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Mentor and guide the sales lead and production manager onsite to develop an effective leadership team.
- Drive branch sales growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, and trade partners.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Manage branch budgets, costs, and financial performance.
- Ensure inventory is effectively managed and maintained.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements.
About You
- 5+ years of experience managing a branch, business unit, sales team, or operational site.
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of profit and loss drivers.
- A proven ability to grow sales and develop customer relationships.
- Experience leading and motivating teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to be involved in day-to-day operations.
- Experience within building products, manufacturing, trade supply, or a related industry will be highly regarded.
