Australia and New Zealand Recycling Platform is Australia’s only not-for-profit Co-regulatory Arrangement operating under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme (NTCRS). We work for our Members (leading IT brand owners), not for profit, providing a lean and sustainable arrangement to meet their liability under the Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020.
The Opportunity:
The Compliance and Operations Officer provides a range of administrative and operational support to the business. This role works closely with the Senior Coordinator, Compliance and Operations supports the Manager, Compliance and Operations to run the e-waste collection and recycling programs managed by ANZRP.
This is a full time, fixed term position for 9 months. There may be an opportunity to continue in the role in a part time capacity from mid February 2027.
The role is responsible for ensuring sensitive or confidential data from multiple sources is correctly entered into company business systems for processing, management and reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- coordinating the processing and implementation of daily service bookings by liaising with collection sites, logistics providers, and recyclers.
- managing the booking process for a number of diverse and specialised Member Programs.
- providing a responsive, courteous, helpful advisory service and general administrative support across the business as required including, answering telephone calls, message taking and file management.
- enter booking data into the database as received and the efficient e-filing of emails – bookings requests, spreadsheets and all related correspondence
- assessing information for clarity, accuracy, currency, and relevance. Identifying discrepancies and errors in correspondence or datasets and obtain the required information in accordance with company procedures.
In addition, you will:
- participate in environmentally sustainable work practices and help us improve our environmental practices and resource efficiency by making suggestions for improvements to practices in work areas.
- contribute to specialised projects, process improvement, and other initiatives including member engagement and enhanced reporting requirements.
This is a fast-paced and changing environment in an industry aiming for sustainable positive community outcomes. You will work with a highly motivated operations team to communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring information is shared and actioned in appropriate timeframes. Some occasional intrastate and interstate travel is required to meet with industry partners.
Qualifications
Certificate II in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.

Experience
- 2+ years of logistics, scheduling, business administration or data entry experience.
- Proven experience with managing and maintaining databases and running queries to enable reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Word, and contemporary Customer Relationship Management systems such as Zoho would be advantageous
