Construct Services is seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to join our Queensland operations, delivering high-quality insurance repair and construction projects across the Gold Coast region.

This position is ideally suited to a hands-on construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership capability, and enjoys working collaboratively with project delivery teams, subcontractors, clients, and resort stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be based live onsite at a resort-style project within the Gold Coast surrounds, operating on a Monday to Friday roster and working closely with the Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day onsite delivery of construction and remediation works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage site activities, maintain compliance obligations, and act as the key onsite representative for Construct Services.

This role requires strong communication skills, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders within occupied and live operating environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily onsite construction activities across allocated projects
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to achieve project milestones and programme outcomes
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, scope, and quality standards
  • Maintain safe work practices and ensure full compliance with WHS legislation and site safety requirements
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox meetings, and ongoing safety management activities
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve onsite issues
  • Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries, and reporting requirements
  • Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, resort management, and occupants
  • Ensure effective material procurement, site logistics, and coordination of trades
  • Maintain high presentation standards across all work areas
  • Support practical completion, defect management, and handover activities

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Supervisor within commercial, insurance, remedial, or refurbishment construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of Queensland construction and WHS legislation
  • Ability to manage live environments and stakeholder-sensitive projects
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and accountability
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a wider project team
  • Sound computer literacy and reporting capability

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Queensland construction qualifications and licences
  • QBCC Supervisors or Builders Licence
  • Current Queensland White Card
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrated site safety management experience
  • Ability to successfully complete background and reference checks
