About the Role
Reporting to the NSW State Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing major and complex insurance building projects, ensuring repairs are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing major and complex insurance repair projects from commencement through to completion
- Planning, scheduling and coordinating project activities and resources
- Reviewing project scope, estimating costs and maintaining profitable project outcomes
- Coordinating trades, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, insurers and customers
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates and reporting
- Identifying and managing project risks while ensuring compliance with WHS legislation
- Maintaining exceptional customer service throughout the repair journey
- Supporting and mentoring team members where required
- Ensuring quality workmanship and best-practice construction methods are maintained
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience supervising major and complex insurance building repairs
- Trade qualification, Builder’s Registration or qualification in Building & Construction (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and construction scheduling software
- Current driver’s licence
