About Us
At Ambrose Construct Group, we’re transforming how a national insurance building business operates through process improvement, automation, system integration, and digital innovation.
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Automation & Performance Lead to join our Automation & Performance team. This is a senior position with the opportunity working closely with the National Automation & Performance Manager, helping drive strategic business improvement initiatives across our national operations.
This role sits between senior business leaders and our technology teams, translating operational needs into practical solutions, leading projects from concept through to implementation, and ensuring our systems and processes continue to evolve as the business grows.
About the Role
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role.
You will partner directly with Executive Leaders, General Managers, operational leaders, and software development teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver projects that create measurable business value.
Projects vary from small process improvements and system enhancements through to enterprise-wide business transformations, integrations, and platform implementations.
You will be expected to think strategically, challenge constructively, and lead initiatives with confidence while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives across multiple business units.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities and define future-state processes.
- Translate business requirements into detailed scopes, business cases, and project documentation.
- Assess operational impacts, risks, costs, and benefits of proposed changes.
- Facilitate workshops and project meetings with leaders across the organisation.
- Partner with development and technology teams to refine requirements and support delivery.
- Manage projects through the entire lifecycle from discovery through to implementation.
- Contribute to strategic planning, roadmaps, governance, and prioritisation activities.
- Support leadership reporting and provide insights that enable informed decision-making.
- Mentor and support team members while helping shape the future capability of the Automation & Performance function.
About You
You are a highly intelligent and commercially minded professional who enjoys solving complex business problems.
You can comfortably move between executive conversations and detailed project documentation, understanding both the strategic objective and the operational realities required to achieve it.
Most importantly, you know how to influence people, build trust, and create alignment across multiple stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Three plus years’ experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, Technology Delivery, or Business Transformation.

- Strong commercial and analytical capability.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with Executive Leaders, senior managers, operational teams, and technical specialists.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and emotional intelligence.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Highly Regarded
- Experience within insurance, construction, trades, facilities management, or other operationally complex industries.
- Knowledge of Power Platform, workflow automation, business systems, or enterprise software delivery.
- Experience in acquisition integrations and organisational change.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a national business investing heavily in technology, automation, and innovation.
