We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team in Subiaco. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing end-to-end payroll in accordance with organisational policies and legislative requirements
  • Maintaining payroll records and employee data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Managing payroll-related reconciliations and reporting
  • Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and stakeholders
  • Interpreting and applying relevant Awards, including SCHADS
  • Supporting compliance with payroll legislation, taxation and superannuation requirements
  • Assisting with payroll audits, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with Finance and People & Capability teams to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency

About You:

  • Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements, particularly the SCHADS Award.
  • Experience using payroll systems such as PayCat, Employment Hero, Wiise or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Relevant payroll, accounting, finance or business qualifications will be highly regarded.
