About the Role

As House Manager, you will provide clinical and operational leadership for a community-based service supporting people living with dementia. You will oversee day-to-day service delivery, lead and support multidisciplinary teams, and ensure services are safe, compliant, and aligned with best-practice dementia care. You’ll have real influence over service quality, team culture, and how dementia care is delivered at a local level.

This role is ideally suited to a Clinical Nurse Manager who is ready to broaden their scope into service and operational leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support community care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centered dementia services
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQSC) and organizational policies
  • Support delivery of Support at Home (formerly Home Care Packages) programs
  • Manage service delivery, staffing, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and key external stakeholders
  • Oversee staff training, development, and performance
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability
  • Represent Alzheimer’s WA in community and sector forums

Selection Criteria

  • Clinical background – highly regarded
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQSC)
  • Knowledge of the Support at Home Program (formerly HCP)
  • Community-based clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting people living with dementia
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven leadership capability and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Current WA Driver’s License
  • Full Australian working rights
  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
