As our networks continue to expand, we’re looking for a practical and solutions-focused Water Services Engineer / Services Coordinator to help coordinate the delivery of new utility assets and support the growth of our water and wastewater schemes.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an engineer or utilities professional who enjoys combining technical understanding with project coordination and stakeholder management.

Working closely with developers, consultants, contractors and internal teams, you’ll play a key role in coordinating the delivery of new water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure from application through to construction, certification and asset handover.

This role is ideal for someone who understands civil or utility construction, can confidently interpret engineering drawings, and enjoys building strong working relationships to keep projects moving.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Review and assess developer servicing applications and infrastructure submissions
  • Interpret water, wastewater and civil engineering drawings and documentation
  • Coordinate approvals, permits and servicing requirements for new developments
  • Liaise with developers, consultants, contractors and certifiers throughout project delivery
  • Track project milestones, construction sequencing and critical path activities
  • Coordinate documentation, certifications and asset handover requirements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and invoice management activities
  • Monitor network capacity requirements and assist with planning future infrastructure upgrades

About You

You may be an engineer, project coordinator or utilities professional with experience in water, wastewater, civil infrastructure or land development projects.

We’re looking for someone who is practical, organised and capable of balancing technical reviews with stakeholder management and project coordination.

You’ll Bring

  • Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience working within water, wastewater, utilities, civil construction or land development environments
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings
  • Understanding of basic hydraulic principles and utility network infrastructure
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing and project delivery processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
