We service eight (8) water and wastewater communities within the Greater Sydney and Hunter area, providing high quality recycled water to 10,000 and ultimately 25,000 customers from locally sourced wastewater and stormwater. We are the only private water utility in Australia that has the end-to-end design, build, operation and customer retail of wastewater and recycled water services.
The Community Growth Team is a critical first point of contact in our customer connection infrastructure, providing the support to homebuilders, developers and commercial customers connecting to our network. The role provides exceptional customer experience and service in all communication channels involved in day-to-day support.
Core Responsibilities:
- Interacting with customers, builders, contractors and Altogether team members, providing a positive experience to all
- Review of house building plans and associated compliance documentation
- Coordinate requests for new business uses at new or existing sites
- Respond to, and coordinate all pre-connection and connection requests
- Liaise with applicants online or on the phone to facilitate all activities as required
What will you bring to the role?
- Experience in a customer service and administration environment with demonstrated ability to think critically and provide a customer centric, solution focused interaction
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, identify opportunities for improvement, prioritising your own workload and handling complex enquiries.
- Experience and ability in effective negotiation with customers and builders in both technical and commercial matters; excellent communications skills are required.
- Ability to recall information regarding process or regulatory change and apply to working practices
- You will be a diligent self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the business.
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and good time management skills, with ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines, schedules and commitments
