Our ideal candidate

You will:

  • Hold a current Queensland Electrical Licence (essential).
  • Hold a current ACMA Open Cabling Registration (preferred).
  • Hold a current Australian Driver Licence.
  • Have experience delivering small to medium sized electrical and communication projects.
  • Be capable of installing, terminating, testing and commissioning copper and fibre optic cabling and small electrical systems.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Be able to read construction drawings and work effectively within live construction environments.
  • Be reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • Take pride in delivering projects to a high standard and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team with long tenure and upward growth patterns.

 

Have experience working within one or more of the following environments

  • Commercial interior fit-outs.
  • Data Centres.
  • Railway and rail infrastructure.
  • Industrial facilities.
  • Defence or Government projects.
  • Healthcare and education facilities.

 

Highly regarded:

  • Electrical Switchboard and Lighting Works
  • Experience with fibre optic termination, testing and fault finding.
  • Experience working within live data centre or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Working at Heights or High Risk Work licences.
  • Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
