Our ideal candidate
You will:
- Hold a current Queensland Electrical Licence (essential).
- Hold a current ACMA Open Cabling Registration (preferred).
- Hold a current Australian Driver Licence.
- Have experience delivering small to medium sized electrical and communication projects.
- Be capable of installing, terminating, testing and commissioning copper and fibre optic cabling and small electrical systems.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Be able to read construction drawings and work effectively within live construction environments.
- Be reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- Take pride in delivering projects to a high standard and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Enjoys working as part of a team with long tenure and upward growth patterns.
Have experience working within one or more of the following environments
- Commercial interior fit-outs.
- Data Centres.
- Railway and rail infrastructure.
- Industrial facilities.
- Defence or Government projects.
- Healthcare and education facilities.
Highly regarded:
- Electrical Switchboard and Lighting Works
- Experience with fibre optic termination, testing and fault finding.
- Experience working within live data centre or critical infrastructure environments.
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Working at Heights or High Risk Work licences.
- Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
