Alliance SI is looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to join our Brisbane team.

This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of electrical and communications projects, including commercial construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, critical environments and specialist installations. You will join an experienced and supportive team that takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work. What you will be doing

  • Completing electrical installations, upgrades, fit-outs and maintenance works.
  • Installing cable containment, power, lighting, switchboards and communications infrastructure.
  • Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and project documentation.
  • Testing, fault-finding and completing electrical verification and commissioning activities.
  • Working across commercial, industrial, infrastructure and critical-environment projects.
  • Coordinating with supervisors, project managers, customers and other trades.
  • Completing required site documentation, testing records and safety paperwork.
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, presentation and site cleanliness.
  • Identifying issues early and communicating clearly with the project team.
  • Supporting apprentices and less-experienced team members when required.

About you

You will ideally have:

  • Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence.
  • Current ACMA Open Cabling Registration, with Structured and/or Fibre endorsements highly regarded.
  • Current driver licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • CPR and Low Voltage Rescue qualifications.
  • Experience working across commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
  • Strong testing, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to safe, compliant and high-quality workmanship.
