Alliance SI is looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to join our Brisbane team.
This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of electrical and communications projects, including commercial construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, critical environments and

What you will be doing
- Completing electrical installations, upgrades, fit-outs and maintenance works.
- Installing cable containment, power, lighting, switchboards and communications infrastructure.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Testing, fault-finding and completing electrical verification and commissioning activities.
- Working across commercial, industrial, infrastructure and critical-environment projects.
- Coordinating with supervisors, project managers, customers and other trades.
- Completing required site documentation, testing records and safety paperwork.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, presentation and site cleanliness.
- Identifying issues early and communicating clearly with the project team.
- Supporting apprentices and less-experienced team members when required.
About you
You will ideally have:
- Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence.
- Current ACMA Open Cabling Registration, with Structured and/or Fibre endorsements highly regarded.
- Current driver licence.
- Construction White Card.
- CPR and Low Voltage Rescue qualifications.
- Experience working across commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
- Strong testing, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safe, compliant and high-quality workmanship.
