Description

Allclass is an established and growing equipment dealership, proudly operating across seven branches throughout Queensland, including Wacol, Yandina, Brendale, Cairns, Townsville, Toowoomba and Rockhampton. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a detail-focused and reliable Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at our Wacol Head Office.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring accurate, timely payments to suppliers and employees, while supporting credit cards payments, and broader finance administration.

About the Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will take primary responsibility for managing creditor payments and expense processes. Given the access to company-wide financial information, this role requires a high level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.

You will work closely with the Finance team, Branch Managers, and external suppliers to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations across all branches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts payable inbox and action invoices promptly
  • Process invoice approvals and enter invoices for payment
  • Run scheduled and ad-hoc payment runs
  • Process credits, refunds, and supplier reconciliations
  • Administer staff reimbursements
  • Administer company credit card system and reconciliations
  • Reconcile monthly accounts payable
  • Administer Co-op claims and maintain the asset register
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and values

About You

You are organised, methodical, and comfortable working with deadlines in a busy environment. You take pride in accuracy and enjoy being a dependable support to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

You will bring:

  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting practices and financial processes
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Office; experience with finance systems highly regarded)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support the broader team
