Description

Build a long‑term HR career. Hands‑on client experience. End‑to‑end HR exposure.

If this resonates, this is an ideal next step in building your HR career.

Due to continued growth, Allan Hall HR is seeking a motivated and detail‑focused HR Coordinator to join our Consulting team. This role is purpose‑built for someone at the early stage of their HR career who wants exposure, responsibility and hands‑on experience.

You’ll work directly with experienced HR Consultants, support real client work, and be involved across the full employee lifecycle, making this an outstanding learning environment for someone serious about building a successful career in HR.

Why This Role Is Different

As an HR Coordinator at Allan Hall HR, you will:

  • Be coached and supported with managing direct client contact.
  • Gain exposure to all areas of HR, not just one specialty.
  • Work with clients across an extensive range of industries and business sizes.
  • Learn how HR advice is delivered in a commercial, professional services environment.
  • Be mentored by experienced Consultants who are invested in your development.

If your goal is to become a confident, well‑rounded HR professional – this role gives you the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working under the guidance of the Consulting Team Manager, and with mentoring support from a dedicated Consultant, you’ll support all areas of HR service delivery, including:

  • Providing support across the Consulting team.
  • Supporting retainer HR advisory clients with routine HR queries and tasks.
  • Supporting initial ticket handling and allocation in HubSpot.
  • Preparing basic template employment contracts and policies for Consultant review.
  • Assisting with performance management administration (scheduling, reminders, draft templates and correspondence).
  • Supporting induction, exit and compliance administration.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and databases.

What You’ll Bring

This role is ideal for someone early in their HR journey who is committed to building a career in the profession. You’ll bring:

  • A relevant HR or business‑related qualification, or currently working towards one.
  • A genuine interest in HR and workplace relations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A professional phone manner and client‑focused mindset.
  • Strong organisation and time‑management skills.
  • A proactive, positive and can‑do attitude.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback and grow.
  • Confidence with systems and technology.
  • Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available).

Previous HR or office experience is helpful but not essential – attitude, curiosity and commitment to an HR career matter most.

Why Join Us?

Allan Hall HR is a people‑first, established HR consulting firm based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We partner with a broad and growing client base to deliver practical, commercially focused and tailored people solutions, underpinned by a strong reputation and a highly collaborative team culture.

What you’ll gain:

  • A genuine HR career pathway, not just a job.

  • Mentoring from experienced HR Consultants.
  • A collaborative, supportive and professional team environment.
  • A strong foundation for progressing into HR consulting roles over time.
