Description

All Industries Group is seeking Trades Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship, follows strict safety standards, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced industrial environment. Must have Forklift Licence.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leanring and assistiing in all areas of the workshop and ensuring all work aligns with AIG’s safety, quality, and operational requirements. The role requires both independent work and teamwork to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional finishes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist tradespeople with day‑to‑day tasks in the workshop area.
  • Prepare work areas by cleaning, organising tools, and setting up equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Assist with moving, lifting, and positioning materials, components, and equipment safely.
  • Complete general labouring duties including housekeeping, waste disposal, and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.
  • Conduct basic inspections of tools and equipment and report faults or maintenance needs.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and AIG policies.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time.
  • Identify and report safety, quality, or environmental issues promptly.
  • Participate in training and development to build skills and support career growth.
  • Work under direction from leading hands, supervisors, or tradespeople and complete assigned tasks to required standards.
