Description

All Energy Contracting (AEC) is a leading multi-disciplinary construction contractor specialising in the renewable energy and power infrastructure sectors. AEC services span across a portfolio of major projects in utility-scale solar, wind, battery storage (BESS), high voltage connections, substations and distribution networks.

Our goal is to generate sustainable returns by delivering projects for our clients safely, efficiently, and reliably, while providing rewarding and meaningful careers for our people.

Headquartered in Brisbane, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing business with projects spread across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

About the role:

Since being acquired by OCU Group, AEC has experienced significant growth through major project wins across Australia and New Zealand and due to an internal move, we have an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter to join our People & Culture team. We are looking for someone who is motivated to deliver end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of professional, labour and specialist roles, supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of professional, labour and specialist roles across AEC, from brief through to offer.
  • Build sourcing pipelines using job boards, direct sourcing methods and the ATS.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and keep candidates and hiring managers informed at every stage.
  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience consistent with our standards.
  • Flag anything that isn’t working in practice so processes can be refined as the function matures.
  • Keep ATS records accurate and current to support reliable team-wide and Group reporting.
  • Contribute ideas and energy to a growing team.

What Success Looks Like in the First 6–12 Months:

  • A consistently well-managed portfolio of roles, with good hiring manager and candidate feedback.
  • Growing confidence in direct sourcing, reducing reliance on inbound applications and job ads.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience recruiting in-house or agency-side, ideally across professional and labour roles.
  • Ability to work at pace and carry volume.
  • Practiced in using data to inform decision making and using talent insights technology to refine sourcing strategies.
  • Comfortable working through a period of change is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Organised and proactive, with good attention to detail on process and candidate communication.
  • Clear communicator, comfortable building rapport with hiring managers and candidates.
