Description

We are seeking a qualified Chef to join our 38-place boutique early childhood centre located in Caringbah, in the Sutherland Shire.

Our service operates Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm and is closed on all NSW public holidays, as well as during our Christmas shutdown period.

This opportunity is ideal for a chef seeking a balanced lifestyle, a positive workplace culture, and a genuinely supportive team environment. Our centre features a brand-new, fully equipped commercial kitchen designed with a modern, natural aesthetic, making it an enjoyable and inspiring space to work.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term role who can work collaboratively with our team to design and implement a Munch & Move-approved menu for children aged 0–6 years. We value an interactive chef who is passionate about introducing children to a variety of nutritious and culturally diverse foods and experiences.

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a chef
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • WWCC + Relevant National Police check ( Must be within 6 months)
  • GECCKO + Child Protection Training Certificate
  • Understanding of children’s nutritional requirements
  • Passion for preparing fresh, nutritious meals for young children
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
