About The Role

Are you a passionate and driven team player who thrives on turning opportunities into success and creating standout client experiences? Join us and play a key role in shaping exciting projects while guiding clients every step of the way. We’re looking for a proactive and strategic professional to join our high-performing team at our vibrant Rhodes office, with regular travel as part of the role.

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you will be a key representative of Akura, consulting with clients the Akura Way to drive successful project outcomes, with our engineered Steel and Precast Packages. This consists of Structural Design, Steel and Precast and Installation. Working closely with builders, developers, engineers and other key stakeholders, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing the business within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will develop and deliver a strategic business plan informed by market research to expand Akura’s steel and precast opportunities, proactively identifying, pursuing and converting prospects to achieve sales and revenue targets. You’ll actively support business development by identifying and converting opportunities in target markets. You’ll also collaborate with Estimators and Consultants to produce accurate, competitive proposals, and ensure a smooth handover of awarded projects to construction teams for successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance by applying Akura’s Consultative Selling and Sales Process principles.
  • Liaise with the Business Development Manager to convert new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proactively manage various external relationships to maintain Akura’s high standard of client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the sales team and Head of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute weekly strategies.
  • Manage projects and customer interactions in HubSpot with accurate, timely updates.
  • Coordinate and participate in client meetings, tender/BID management, and project handovers.
  • Forecast a pipeline of projects to align with overall company goals.
  • Provide market insights to the Marketing and Sales teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with estimators to support accurate proposals and assess tender documentation for risks and scope.
  • Ensure a smooth handover of successful deals to the project Delivery team.
  • Uphold professional standards, communicate effectively, and maintain positive internal and external relationships.

About You

You bring a strong drive to convert business opportunities and unlock new possibilities. We are looking for a commercially minded professional from a construction sales background who excels at building strong relationships and guiding clients through the project journey. The ideal candidate is confident, proactive, and focused on delivering value through a consultative, client-centric approach. We also welcome any of the following experience to apply: Development Manager, Project Manager, Client-Side Project Manager. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience within commercial/industrial real estate/property or construction industry is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and close
  • A strategic mindset to direct the business into new markets and products
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and high level of initiative and drive
