About Agile Insights
Agile Insights is a specialist Microsoft Data and AI consultancy
with more than 70 consultants across NSW, Victoria, South Australia and
Queensland, headquartered in North Sydney. We consult, design and deliver data,
analytics and AI solutions for mid-to-large organisations and government
agencies across Australia, on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI and the broader
Microsoft stack.
Our mission is to elevate people and organisations to achieve their
full potential through AI, and our vision is to be the number one Microsoft
Data and AI partner in Australia. Part of that vision is being a talent
factory, a place where people do the best work of their careers. We have ranked
in the CRN Fast50 three years running, placed third in the Performance
Accelerators category at the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50 Awards, and we are
Great Place to Work certified.
Culture is our differentiator, and it starts with the first of our
values: People First. This is a genuinely collaborative business. Sellers,
architects, consultants and delivery leads work side by side rather than in
silos, wins are celebrated as a team, and everyone is accessible, including the
exec. There is little to no politics here, just a get stuff done mentality,
people who share what they know, and a team that is always looking at how we
get better. We also give back, committing 5% of annual profits to charitable
causes and sponsoring the technical communities we grew up in.
The role
You will be the engine at the front of our pipeline. Your job is to
find the right people at the right organisations, start conversations that
matter, and hand qualified opportunities to our account executives.
This is a genuine development role. We are hiring someone we can
promote. Our vision includes being a talent factory, and we mean it: BDRs here
sit in on customer meetings, learn how deals are shaped, and get coached by
senior sellers with the explicit goal of moving into an AE seat as the business
grows. You will not be stuck in a corner with a dialler. You will be part of
the team, in the room, learning the trade.
What you will do:
- Research target accounts across enterprise and government
- Run outbound campaigns: calls, email, LinkedIn and events
- Qualify inbound leads and Microsoft referrals before they reach the AEs
- Book meetings that turn into pipeline, and track your numbers honestly
- Support marketing campaigns and events that generate demand
- Learn the Microsoft Data and AI story well enough to hold a credible first conversation
- Keep the CRM clean, because good data is how you will prove your impact
Our Microsoft relationship
This is not a partnership in name only. Agile Insights has a long-standing relationship with Microsoft and works side by side with their Australian teams every week. We hold Microsoft Solutions Partner designations in Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, and Infrastructure, along with Advanced Specialisations in Analytics on Microsoft Azure and AI Platforms, Microsoft’s highest technical accreditations. We have delivered more than 150 Microsoft Fabric engagements and are one of the most active Fabric partners in the country, alongside our certified Databricks partnership.
For you, that means warm doors rather than cold ones. Microsoft account teams bring us into deals because they trust our delivery record, and our sellers work the co-sell motion with Microsoft sellers and specialists constantly. You will have access to Microsoft funding programs, joint account
planning and a brand that carries weight in the room.
About you
You do not need years of experience. You need drive, curiosity and resilience, because outbound is hard and the people who succeed at it are the ones who keep going.
You bring:
- 1 to 3 years in a sales, BDR, SDR or customer-facing role, or a strong case for why you would be great at this
- Genuine interest in technology, and ideally some exposure to the Microsoft ecosystem
- Confidence on the phone and sharpness in writing
- Coachability. You will get a lot of feedback here, and the fastest growers are the ones who use it
- Organisation and persistence. Pipeline is built one conversation at a time
- Australian working rights
