About Agile Insights
Agile Insights is a specialist Microsoft Data and AI consultancy with more than 70 consultants across NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland, headquartered in North Sydney. We consult, design and deliver data, analytics and AI solutions for mid-to-large organisations and government
agencies across Australia, on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI and the broader Microsoft stack.
Our mission is to elevate people and organisations to achieve their full potential through AI, and our vision is to be the number one Microsoft Data and AI partner in Australia. Part of that vision is being a talent factory, a place where people do the best work of their careers. We have ranked
in the CRN Fast50 three years running, placed third in the Performance Accelerators category at the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50 Awards, and we are Great Place to Work certified.
Culture is our differentiator, and it starts with the first of our values: People First. This is a genuinely collaborative business. Sellers, architects, consultants and delivery leads work side by side rather than in silos, wins are celebrated as a team, and everyone is accessible, including the
exec. There is little to no politics here, just a get stuff done mentality, people who share what they know, and a team that is always looking at how we get better. We also give back, committing 5% of annual profits to charitable causes and sponsoring the technical communities we grew up in.
The role
This is a quota-carrying AE role focused on net-new business, with
room to grow the accounts you win. You will work the Microsoft co-sell motion
hard, build your own pipeline, and close multi-phase Data and AI programs.
Selling here is a team sport. You will have presales support,
solution architects who turn up to customer meetings, delivery leads who help
you shape proposals, an alliance function that opens doors with Microsoft, and
fellow sellers who share leads and intel rather than guarding them. What we ask
in return is that you hunt.
What you will do:
- Build and convert
pipeline, with a clear focus on new logos
- Drive co-sell with
Microsoft: identify, qualify, register, progress, close
- Run customer meetings and
executive presentations, with architects and presales alongside you
- Shape proposals and
statements of work with delivery leads, so what you sell can actually be
delivered
- Sell across Data Platform
Modernisation, Microsoft Fabric, Analytics and AI, including our own
accelerators and packaged solutions like Agile Agents
- Expand your accounts once
you have landed them
- Keep the CRM current and
the forecast honest
Our Microsoft relationship
This is not a partnership in name only. Agile Insights has a
long-standing relationship with Microsoft and works side by side with their
Australian teams every week. We hold Microsoft Solutions Partner designations
in Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, and Infrastructure, along with
Advanced Specialisations in Analytics on Microsoft Azure and AI Platforms,
Microsoft’s highest technical accreditations. We have delivered more than 150
Microsoft Fabric engagements and are one of the most active Fabric partners in
the country, alongside our certified Databricks partnership.
For you, that means warm doors rather than cold ones. Microsoft
account teams bring us into deals because they trust our delivery record, and
our sellers work the co-sell motion with Microsoft sellers and specialists
constantly. You will have access to Microsoft funding programs, joint account
planning and a brand that carries weight in the room.
About you
You are a hunter who understands that in consulting sales, the first deal is the start of the relationship, not the end of it. You want to win as part of a team, not despite one.
You bring:
- 4+ years in technology
sales, ideally selling Data, Analytics, AI or Cloud
- Experience at a Microsoft
partner, or selling with Microsoft field teams, strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of
Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and the current AI conversation
- Comfort in the room with
CIOs, CDOs and senior program stakeholders
- Strong commercial
instincts and negotiation skills
- Self-management, because
nobody here is going to micromanage you
- An existing network in
NSW or Victorian enterprise or government sectors is a bonus
