The role
As an Administration Trainee at AFS, you will play a vital role in delivering administrative support to our team and clients. Through receiving formal education and practical on-the-job training, you will work towards the completion of a Certificate III in Business Administration. You will receive extensive training and mentorship, enabling you to efficiently manage various administrative tasks and develop essential skills in a professional environment. You will be responsible for:
- Being the first port of call to cover reception duties, ensuring professional management of phone calls and client inquiries.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail with attention to detail.
- Maintaining a clean and organised office environment, including kitchen and stationery supplies.
- Preparing meeting rooms and assist with daily deliveries, including banking when necessary.
- Engaging in archiving and corporate secretarial filing tasks.
- Providing outstanding client service and assist with inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Performing entry-level data entry tasks with accuracy.
- Utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create documents and manage correspondence.
- Maintaining organised filing systems and support general office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Complying with health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment
Who We’re Looking For
- Recent high school graduate (minimum Year 11 VCE completion).
- Enthusiasm for pursuing a Certificate III in Business Administration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
