We’re seeking motivated and customer-focused Aviation
Screening Officers to join our team at Geraldton Airport on a casual
basis. This role offers approximately 20–40 hours per fortnight, making
it ideal for someone seeking flexible work while being part of a professional
and safety-critical aviation environment.

About the Role
As an Aviation Screening Officer, you’ll play a vital role
in protecting passengers, aircraft and airport operations. You’ll be the face
of airport security, ensuring screening activities are conducted professionally
while delivering a positive customer experience.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You’ll work closely with passengers, airline staff and airport stakeholders
while maintaining the highest standards of aviation security and regulatory
compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct
passenger and baggage screening activities
- Ensure
compliance with aviation security regulations and procedures
- Provide
exceptional customer service in a professional airport environment
- Monitor
and report security incidents or irregularities
- Maintain
accurate records and documentation
- Contribute
to a safe, secure and welcoming airport experience

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certificate
II in Transport Security Protection (preferred) or willingness to obtain
- Full
training may be provided to suitable applicants
- Ability
to obtain Dangerous Goods Awareness Training and First Aid certification
- Hold,
or be eligible to obtain, an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Ability
to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Willingness
to participate in random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Civil
Aviation Safety Regulations
