Charge Up Operators

Access Mining runs small, high-performing teams at an underground gold project in Western Australia, and we’re looking for experienced Charge Up Operators who want a crew that operates at their level.

About the Role:

• Ensure charging activities are carried out according to design specifications
• Safely store, handle and transport explosives
• Maintain charging equipment in a safe, clean working order
• Maintain blast quality an minimise misfires
• Carry out routine maintenance and housekeeping
• Complete pre-start checks and uphold our Zero Harm culture
• Work effectively within a small, high-performing team

About You:

• Experience using ANFO and Dyno Nobel accessories in underground mining
• Experience operating IT and working from a basket
• Possess a WA Shotfirers ticket (preferred but not essential)
• Possess a current Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Committed to creating and upholding a zero-harm environment – every shift, every task
• Enjoy being a part of a high-performance team and deeply invested in the success of our clients and each other

• Orientation Program – Access Mining employees will help you settle into the project and the village during the first three months
