Now, we’re looking for a talented Business Development Specialist to join our team working across a portfolio including Haematology, Biochemistry & Infectious Disease and help drive continued success.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working across the Qld and WA territories you will be part of a collaborative, high-performing national team dedicated to delivering superior customer solutions.
As the Business Development Specialist, you will represent innovative product lines and build strong, meaningful partnerships with key customers in an established territory. This is an QLD and WA territory role, requiring regular monthly travel to engage with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with suppliers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Grow revenue and market share for suppliers and product lines across Qld and WA.
- Develop new market opportunities for emerging products, services, and solutions.
- Build and nurture strong customer networks including Key Opinion Leaders and major laboratories.
- Manage multiple strategic initiatives and visit both existing and prospective customers.
- Deliver impactful business development, sales, and technical presentations.
- Travel each month to meet customers, attend industry events, and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Participate in commercial meetings, national training programs, and cross-functional planning activities.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in Salesforce and complete monthly reporting.
- Provide product demonstrations, basic customer training, and support evaluation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the broader commercial and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business alignment.
- Share market intelligence, contribute to installation planning, and recommend improvements or new business initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Qualifications in Medical Science
- Relevant pathology, diagnostic or life science industry experience.
- Strong relationship‑building, communication, and project management skills.
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
