Key Responsibilities:
- Pump Electrical Installation: Install and wire electrical components for pumps, including motors, switches, control panels, and sensors, ensuring they are correctly configured and comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose electrical issues related to pump systems, such as motor failures or electrical malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with maintenance personnel for timely resolution.
- Documentation: maintain accurate records of Machine Performance including mechanical aspects of pump assembly.
- Plant preparedness: Respond to emergencies, plant breakdowns, to minimize disruptions and maintain the integrity of the pump assembly processes.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow electrical codes, company policies, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and safety in electrical installations and maintenance within the pump assembly process.
- Continuous improvement: suggest and implement process improvements or enhancements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety to your manager.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Communication: Promptly report any issues related to pump assembly, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors, ensuring swift resolution.
Education, Experience & Skill:
- Experience with Pump systems (Highly Regarded)
- Electrical or other related engineering qualifications with industry experience.
- Electrical understanding, Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
- Previous Manufacturing/Mechanical experience preferred.
- Forklift License (Desired)
- Strong Hands-on, analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask.
