The Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of AUCyber customers while identifying new business opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role focuses on building strong customer relationships, driving account growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring successful customer outcomes across the lifecycle—from onboarding through to renewal.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of AUCyber customers, driving revenue through upsell, cross-sell and service expansion
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, outbound engagement and strategic targeting
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across customer organisations
  • Lead customer meetings, proposals and commercial negotiations to achieve sales targets
  • Manage contract renewals with a strong focus on retention and long-term customer success
  • Monitor customer health, engagement and account performance to identify risks and growth opportunities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and service-related matters
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product and Delivery teams to deliver strong customer outcomes
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM records

About You:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales or customer success, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new customer opportunities while growing existing accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot) to manage pipelines and customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Pre-Sales, Product and Delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, managed services, cyber security and professional services environments
  • Proactive, organised and results-driven with a strong growth mindset

Additional Information

  • This role may require occasional travel and overnight stays
