The Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of AUCyber customers while identifying new business opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role focuses on building strong customer relationships, driving account growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring successful customer outcomes across the lifecycle—from onboarding through to renewal.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of AUCyber customers, driving revenue through upsell, cross-sell and service expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals, outbound engagement and strategic targeting
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across customer organisations
- Lead customer meetings, proposals and commercial negotiations to achieve sales targets
- Manage contract renewals with a strong focus on retention and long-term customer success
- Monitor customer health, engagement and account performance to identify risks and growth opportunities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and service-related matters
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product and Delivery teams to deliver strong customer outcomes
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM records
About You:
- Proven experience in account management, sales or customer success, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Demonstrated ability to identify and convert new customer opportunities while growing existing accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot) to manage pipelines and customer relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Pre-Sales, Product and Delivery teams
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, managed services, cyber security and professional services environments
- Proactive, organised and results-driven with a strong growth mindset
