We’re looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Returns Officer to join our warehouse team and play a key role in managing returned products, maintaining stock integrity, and supporting operational excellence.

About the Role

As a Returns Officer, you will be responsible for receiving, assessing, processing, and finalising returned products. You’ll ensure returned goods are accurately documented, assessed for recovery or disposal, and processed in accordance with company procedures while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process returned products accurately and efficiently through warehouse systems
  • Record return reasons, serial numbers, photos, videos, and supporting documentation
  • Assess products for return to stock, spare parts recovery, or disposal
  • Manage Return-to-Sender (RTS) products and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Recover and manage spare parts inventory from returned products
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy
  • Investigate and respond to returns and claims-related enquiries
  • Escalate recurring product quality concerns to relevant teams
  • Support warehouse operations and cross-functional communication
  • Ensure safe handling and disposal of damaged or non-compliant products
  • Maintain compliance with warehouse safety, quality, and operational procedures

About You

  • To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, returns, or logistics experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience working with inventory management systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems
  • A current LF Forklift Licence
  • The ability to perform physically demanding warehouse duties
