The Role

In this role you will support and optimise financial resources, supporting the organisations financial stability and continued growth. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring Up-To-Date invoicing and accounts payable functions, collating data for analysis to support informed decision making and ensuring compliance of all financial operations within their remit.

This role will be part time with the schedule of days being flexible to the successful candidate’s needs, however Monday to Wednesday will be required days.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Submit and manage NDIS claims through PRODA and related portals.
  • Reconcile participant accounts, ensuring payments are received, allocated, and followed up as needed.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and maintain debtor ledger integrity.
  • Liaise with the relevant parties to resolve claim discrepancies and manage manual claim processes.
  • Oversee the finance inbox and triage related queries efficiently.
  • Generate weekly receivables reports and provide insights into NDIS claim performance.
  • Ensure that NDIS funding relevant to each participant’s plan is claimed as per the price guide and internal guidelines.
  • Collate relevant data and information to support the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting information.
  • Other general support to the finance team

About You

  • Certificate (or higher) in Business, Accounting or related fields.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience.
  • Experience in collating data to support reporting.
  • Advanced computer skills with a strong knowledge of accounting software including Xero and MS Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Industry experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
