The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Chief Steward to lead our stewarding operation and help maintain the exceptional standards that define our hotel.
Working closely with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our kitchen utility department, ensuring all kitchens, back-of-house areas, and storerooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
From leading a team of stewards and managing supplier relationships to maintaining HACCP compliance and supporting seamless kitchen operations, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for both our guests and team members.
About You
You are a hands-on leader who takes pride in creating clean, organised, and efficient work environments.
You will bring:
- Previous stewarding leadership experience within a quality hotel, luxury hospitality, or large-scale food and beverage operation
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Experience managing stewarding teams across multiple outlets and service periods
- The ability to build positive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Flexibility to thrive within a dynamic 24-hour hotel environment
