About the Promotion
1. This Promotion is offered by Employment Hero Pty Ltd (ABN 11 160 047 709) and its affiliates (Employment Hero).
2. As set out in these Terms & Conditions, this Promotion provides the opportunity for an Eligible Participant to receive a Reward (Promotion).
3. The Promotion will begin at 9:00am on 27th September 2024 and conclude at 5:00pm on 27th September 2024 (Promotion Period).
Who can enter the Promotion?
4. The Promotion is open to all attendees of the APA Summit 2024 during the Promotion Period (Eligible Participant).
How to enter the Promotion?
5. Eligible Participants can go into the draw to win the Reward by scanning the QR code made available at the event and entering their personal details via the form on the following page, or filling in a form made available on a laptop at the event, and enter their details via the following form: https://hr.employmenthero.com/EV-2409-PP-EU-EC-BAP-AU-APA_Summit_2024_CompetitionPage.html
Reward
6. There will be 1 winner drawn at the event who will receive an Apple iPad 10.9-inch 64GB Wi-Fi (Silver) [10th Gen] (Reward).
7. The winner will be drawn at the event on 27th September 2024. The winner will be notified either via announcement at the event, or via phone or email, using the details collected by Employment Hero from the winning Eligible Participant in the above form.
Other Terms and Conditions that apply
8. Standard Employment Hero Platform Terms and Conditions may apply.
9. Separate terms and conditions will apply to the Eligible Participant’s use of the Reward. These terms will be set out by the Reward provider.
10. Any personal data Promotion is managed in accordance with the Employment Hero Privacy Policy.
Liability
11. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Employment Hero (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, for any loss or damage arising in connection with this Promotion, including any:
- technical difficulties or Reward malfunction (whether or not under Employment Hero’s control);
- theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
- entries that are late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after Employment Hero receives it) due to any reason beyond Employment Hero’s reasonable control;
- variation in Reward value to that stated in these terms; or
- tax liability incurred by an Eligible Participant.
General Terms
12. The Reward is not transferable to any other products or cash.
13. The Reward is granted ‘as is’ and Employment Hero does not provide a warranty of the Reward’s merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
14. Employment Hero reserves the right to terminate the Promotion early in full or in part at its absolute discretion.
15. Laws may apply to Eligible Participants or to Employment Hero as a result of either party’s specific location. If this is the case, and if those laws are inconsistent with any part of these terms, those laws will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
16. If any part or provision of these terms are invalid, unenforceable or in conflict with the law, that part or provision is replaced with a provision which, as far as possible, accomplishes the original purpose of that part or provision. The remainder of these terms will be binding on the parties.
17. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
