About the Role:
As a Support Worker with Zest, you’ll work directly with our participants to provide person-centred support that empowers independence, builds confidence, and promotes community participation.
We offer casual and permanent part-time roles to suit your availability and lifestyle.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal prep, and household activities
- Support participants to develop life skills and achieve NDIS goals
- Facilitate access to the community, including appointments, events, or outings
- Build strong, positive relationships with participants and act as a role model
- Promote safety, independence, and meaningful engagement
- Keep accurate records including shift notes and incident reports
What You’ll Bring:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar (or currently studying) (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid and CPR (HLTAID011)
- Manual Handling Certification
- Driver’s licence and access to an insured vehicle
Your Experience May Include:
- Supporting people with disability, mental health, neurodivergence, or complex needs
- Working with trauma-informed or Positive Behaviour Support strategies
