Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to join our team. Based in Perth, this role plays an integral part in supporting Yurra Group’s HR function. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process.
• Prepare and distribute employment contracts, induction schedules, and onboarding materials.
• Conduct welcome sessions and assist new employees with HR policies, procedures, and company culture.
• Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate employee records.
• Continuously improve onboarding processes for efficiency and a positive employee experience.
• Organise pre-mobilisation training and ensure all requirements are met
• Manage mobilisation needs, including uniforms and general PPE requirements
• Book internal and external inductions as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
• Provide first-level HR advice on policies, procedures, awards, and agreements
• Support managers and employees with general HR queries and processes
• Provide general HR administrative support as needed
We are looking for someone who:
• Has 1-2 years of experience in an HR or recruitment role (desirable)
• Is confident in providing first-level HR advice and guidance
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Has a solid understanding of awards, agreements, and compliance requirements
• Possesses strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
• Can manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
• Brings a proactive, can-do attitude and solution-focused approach
