The Opportunity
Yurra is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team in Karratha. This full-time role reports to the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Manager and focuses on coordinating, planning, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing workplace safety and quality measures to minimise operational losses and incidents.
A key part of this role is training, mentoring, and upskilling Yurra’s workforce as part of our Pathway to Trade initiative.
About the Role
- Full-time, Monday to Friday – no FIFO
- Local candidates only – Karratha and surrounding areas
- Drive a culture of safety excellence through training, coaching, and mentoring
- Manage quality assurance, compliance, risk management, and training to support national accreditation
- Ensure alignment with company and client expectations
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a WHS/HSEQ advisor in civil construction, mining, or oil & gas projects
• Strong knowledge of Western Australian WHS legislation, regulations, standards, and codes
• Expertise in risk management, incident prevention, investigation, and reporting
• Experience in quality control, auditing, training, and compliance
• Proficiency with digital tools and safety management systems
