A bit about the role

At Youth Projects, our Workforce Partnerships & Pathways Lead plays a key role in creating meaningful employment opportunities for people experiencing disadvantage by building strong relationships with employers, industry and community partners.

Working across programs and partners throughout Melbourne’s western suburbs, this role focuses on developing pathways that lead to real opportunities in training and employment. You’ll connect participants with opportunities, support transitions and help shape pathways that are practical, inclusive and responsive to both participant goals and employer needs.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to build trust, identify opportunities and support sustainable outcomes. It’s a role for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thinking strategically and turning connections into real-world impact.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in partnership development, employment services, community engagement or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience working with employers, industry or training providers
  • Understanding of barriers to employment and approaches that support inclusive workforce participation
  • Ability to coordinate initiatives, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes
