YourCoffee is a high quality, accessible contract coffee roasting operation providing coffee solutions for the food service, retail, grocery and commercial markets both domestically and internationally. Working from an established, state-of-the-art facility in Brunswick, YourCoffee is at the forefront of providing specialty contract coffee roasting services with a scalable operation to venture into new product lines, brands and markets.
The Role
YourCoffee is looking for a Team Leader, this role will be responsible for completing and overseeing the shifts production schedule, responsible for the Roasting and Packing to the established quality standards of YourCoffee. This role will also work closely with the Production Supervisor to maintain safe working environment, high standard of plant cleanliness and hygiene at YourCoffee.
The role requires the ability to follow and manage complex systems, strict processes, troubleshoot on the go, manage team members on shift and allocate production tasks and roles. The Team Leader is responsible for the allocation of Team Members to tasks, assuring products comply with our quality standards and the safe operation of the plant.
Position Responsibilities
- Execute the shifts production schedule and priority tasks
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain standard operational procedures
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain HACCP and FSANZ compliance
- Maintain additional compliance required by clients
- Perform and manage plant maintenance through scheduled servicing
- Production and warehouse cleaning and maintenance management
Position Requirements
- Previous leadership experience within a similar environment
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
