Supported Independent Living (SIL) | High Intensity Support
Are you an emerging Clinical Nurse Consultant ready to step into a broader leadership role, or an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical judgment and a modern, agile approach to care and leadership?
We are seeking a confident and forward-thinking clinician to oversee clinical care governance and lead Disability Support Workers across multiple SIL homes, supporting participants with complex health, behavioural and psychosocial needs. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to strengthen systems, elevate practice standards and drive high-quality, person-centred care.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for:
- Providing clinical oversight and ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care
- Developing and reviewing complex care plans and risk assessments
- Supporting high-intensity supports including medication, enteral feeding, wound and chronic disease care
- Leading and mentoring Disability Support Workers
- Strengthening clinical governance, compliance and quality systems
- Responding to escalating clinical situations when required
You will operate within a well-supported structure including HR, rostering, quality and finance teams, allowing you to focus on clinical leadership and service excellence.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong experience in complex disability, SIL, community or high-acuity settings
- Confident in clinical decision-making and risk management
- Proven leadership or readiness to step into a CNC-level role
- Solid understanding of NDIS Practice Standards
