About the Role
Yadu is seeking a committed and reliable General Cleaner to join our team. This full-time position (Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm) plays a vital role in maintaining safe, hygienic, and welcoming environments across our clinical, residential, and office facilities. Your work directly supports infection control, public health, and the well-being of our staff, clients, and community.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe spaces and can work independently across multiple sites. You’re organised, dependable, and follow safety protocols carefully when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. You’ll be a key part of a health-focused environment where flexibility and attention to detail matter every day.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Perform scheduled and ad hoc cleaning across clinics, admin offices, and housing sites
- Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and appliances as required
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and follow infection control protocols
- Manage cleaning supplies, consumables, and equipment
- Handle waste responsibly, including general, clinical, and recycling
- Use appropriate PPE and comply with all WHS and chemical safety procedures
- Report maintenance issues and cleaning hazards promptly
About You
To thrive in this position, we are looking for candidates who can meet the following criteria:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. On the job training will be provided.
- Previous experience in chemical handling or willingness to learn
- Valid Driver Licence (Class C or equivalent).
