We partner with the world’s most innovative technology companies to transform businesses, industries, and government services. Every project is an opportunity to transform operations, solve real‑world problems, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

We are enablers. What’s ours is yours, check us out at xAmplify.com.au

The Opportunity

xAmplify’s Program and Change stream within our Business Transformation Team is entering an exciting growth phase, and we’re inviting experienced Project Managers to register their interest in upcoming opportunities.

These roles will support a mix of internal initiatives and client‑facing programs, delivering complex technology and transformation projects across ServiceNow, TechnologyOne, Technology Services, Cyber, Data & AI, and Strategic Advisory. This is an opportunity to work across diverse portfolios, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and deliver meaningful outcomes in fast‑moving environments.

From day one, you’ll be hands‑on — driving delivery, bringing structure, and helping teams succeed across multiple workstreams.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Project Manager at xAmplify, you’ll be responsible for leading projects end‑to‑end, including:

  • Managing full project lifecycles, from initiation through delivery and post‑implementation support
  • Owning schedules, milestones, and project plans to ensure delivery aligns with scope and objectives
  • Maintaining high‑quality governance, documentation, and reporting standards
  • Managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and dependencies
  • Partnering closely with capability leaders and resource managers to ensure effective resourcing
  • Producing regular status reports for internal leadership and client stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement and stronger delivery practices
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and delivery teams to support successful outcomes

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking Project Managers who are confident operating in complex, fast‑paced delivery environments and who bring a strong mix of leadership, structure, and adaptability.

You’ll bring experience across areas such as:

  • End‑to‑end project management within technology or transformation programs
  • Working knowledge of delivery methodologies such as Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and/or PRINCE2 / MSP
  • Delivery within large, multi‑team environments
  • Managing budgets, forecasts, and delivery reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Translating business needs into structured delivery plans
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation
  • Use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, and problem‑solving capability

Experience delivering projects involving ServiceNow, TechnologyOne, or enterprise platforms is highly regarded but not essential if you have strong technology delivery experience.

Client Environment & Eligibility

Many of our Project Manager roles support Federal Government and Defence clients, therefore:

  • Australian Citizenship is preferred
  • Baseline (or higher) AGSVA security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required for government projects

Work Model, Remuneration & Engagement

  • Roles are primarily full‑time permanent, with contract engagements considered for specific programs
  • Hybrid working model across Canberra or Sydney offices, client sites, and working from home
  • Start dates will vary — whether you’re available now or considering your next move in 3–6 months, we’d love to hear from you
