About this role:
The Stores/Factory Hand is responsible for supporting warehouse and factory operations by ensuring accurate picking, quality control, and timely preparation of orders for dispatch. This role involves maintaining a clean and organised workspace, assisting with loading/unloading deliveries, and performing trimming and packaging tasks to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.
What your day will look like:
• Pick and prepare daily orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, including verifying and checking off orders received.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Trim products after manufacturing, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Package finished products in line with customer and internal requirements.
• Conduct quality monitoring and control checks, updating QA registers and documentation as required.
• Undertaking quality inspection and batch release as per BXF-01 requirements
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks where necessary.
• Lift and handle materials up to 25kg safely using correct manual handling techniques.
• Report any product quality issues, stock discrepancies, or hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About you:
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Basic understanding of warehouse and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to operate safely in a warehouse/factory environment.
• Capable of manual handling and heavy lifting up to 25kg.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Capable of using and reading measuring equipment
• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to completing tasks effectively.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Qualification and skillsets needed:
• Forklift Licence
• WA Driver’s Licence – HR Class
