About this role:

The Mobile Plant Maintenance Manager is a key role in the organisation and will be responsible for leading and managing the equipment maintenance function & workshop operations and its employees. You will need to have strong leadership skills, be an effective communicator and ensure the efficient and effective day to day operations of 2 busy workshops. The role is also responsible for ensuring that all related software systems are properly used and populated to ensure accurate reporting.

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a civil construction company or related industry.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi earthmoving equipment.
  • Working knowledge of the repair and maintenance of a large heavy and light vehicle fleet.
  • Working knowledge of WAHVA maintenance requirements.  
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • A proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Construction Safety Awareness Card / White Card.
  • Class C Motor Vehicle License.
  • Must hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • Full unlimited rights to work in Australia.
