Position purpose
This role supports the project manager by assembling and installing façade and window systems on-site, including aluminium and glass components. the role involves installation and integration with other materials, and the use of specialist tools and machinery — all delivered to high safety and quality standards.
Qualifications, certifications and experience
Essential
- Previous on-site assembly and installation experience, particularly in the construction or glazing industries
- Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices and adherence to health and safety standards
- Relevant Health and Safety training or certifications
- Working at Heights certification e.g., US 23229, US15757.
Desirable
- NZ Certificate in Glass and Glazing (Glazing, Processing, Glass Sales) Level 4
- NZ Certificate in Aluminium Joinery (Fabrication and Installation) Level 3–4
- NZ Certificate in Construction Trade Skills (Joinery or Carpentry strand) Level 3
- NZ Certificate in Engineering Fabrication (Light/Heavy Fabrication) Level 3–4
- NZ Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Workplace Safety) Level 3
