Roadhouse Manager – Walgett

Woodham Petroleum is a family-owned business operating a regional network of fuel depots and outlets across NSW and QLD. We own and operate a substantial fleet of fuel tankers and are seeking a Roadhouse Manager to join our team in Walgett. This is a full-time permanent position offering long-term stability and a supportive work environment.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated, proactive, and customer-focused Roadhouse Manager with kitchen and customer service experience to manage our daily operations and provide a memorable experience for our guests.The role collaborates with the Finance, Sales, and Operations teams, and leads a team of roadhouse staff including the supervisors, kitchen, and service employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support roadhouse staff, supervisors, kitchen, and service teams.
• Oversee rostering, training, performance, and timesheet approvals in Employment Hero.
• Manage daily operations including POS systems, cash handling, and financial reporting.
• Conduct stock control, pricing reviews, and supplier coordination to maintain accurate inventory.
• Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance across all areas of the roadhouse.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor workplace health and safety, fuel and food compliance, and conduct regular inspections.

About You

• Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or retail industry is preferred
• Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or business administration are advantageous.
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence and be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
