TO THRIVE YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.

• Current and valid First aid, Asthma, and anaphylaxis certification.

• Sound EYLF and NQS knowledge

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual children
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn and play
  • Observe and assess children’s development and progress, and communicate with parents and caregivers as needed
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and attendance
  • Attend professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • State certification or licensure as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
