Home Care Cleaners (Aged Care)

We are seeking dedicated Home Care Cleaners to provide essential cleaning services for aged care clients in Adelaide. This casual role is vital in ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for our elderly clients, contributing to their overall well-being and comfort. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and dignity of those in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of client homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns regarding client safety to the supervisor.
• Assist clients with light household tasks as needed, promoting their independence.
• Maintain a respectful and compassionate attitude towards clients and their families.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Additional tasks may include supporting a elder with a transport or shopping support

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A valid police check and working with children check may be required.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely

Requirements:

• Australian Police Check
• Own Car, Australian Drivers licence and Car insurance
• 2 x work related references
• Able to work at least 3 weekdays per week
