Your contribution to the team includes

The Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Commercial & Strategy Department and assist the team with fulfilling their day-to-day requirements. You will play a pivotal role within the Partnerships team, being responsible for the successful management of a number of key existing club partners. The role is also responsible for:

Management of Commercial Partnerships

  • Have a deep understanding of the partner organisational goals, objectives, KPI’s, and values and how these can be complimented through our partnership.
  • Establish and maintain recurring WIP meetings and documents for each assigned partner.
  • Ensure all contracted assets are delivered in line with meeting partnership objectives.
  • Establish consistent and regular reporting to ensure value is demonstrated in an ongoing basis to Club partners.
  • Deliver Post-Implementation Reports (PIR) for all activities and Mid-Season and Post-Season Reviews on time.
  • Oversee all football contra agreements & AFL partnerships.
  • Deliver on a portfolio of benefits (i.e. signage, ticketing) across all partners to ensure entitlements are managed and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ensure all key stakeholder and partner details are correct and up to date
  • Oversee the financial aspect and control the associated P&L’s for allocated partnerships
  • Assist on match day with activation, partner entitlement delivery, room hosting at home game functions and other Western Bulldogs events, if and when required

Commercial Operations and Servicing

  • Assist in the day-to-day administrative duties of the department, as directed by the Senior Partnerships Manager and/or the Head of Partnerships & Sales
  • Provide innovative solutions that align with partner brand objectives
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ideate innovative solutions that fit in with the 12-month partner plans
  • Process and track client and supplier invoices and purchase orders in accordance with financial processes.
  • Assisting in the management of the overall sponsorship budget, and develop and evolve the organisations budgetary processes in association with the CC&SO, CFO and HOP&S.
  • Lead the AFL and Contra partnerships portfolio
  • Provide assistance at Western Bulldogs Home Games as required
  • Own and lead regular Commercial Partner update and communications
  • Work collaboratively with the Partnerships & Sales team to develop and maintain a range of customer service strategies to ensure expectations of Partners, customers and stakeholders are met and exceeded in line with department customer service strategy

Skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Management and or Commerce (preferred)
  • Prior experience in customer/client service and administrative tasks
  • Experience in sponsorship/business development and corporate sales/admin
  • Being highly organised, with strong attention to detail, is essential
  • Proficient skills across Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint
  • Time Management
  • Knowledge of operating a CRM and setting up/managing databases preferable
  • Intermediate Adobe Acrobat skills, including basic
  • Adobe Photoshop & InDesign Skills
