Kick-start your career in sport with the West Coast Eagles’ premier fully integrated education and sports industry program, delivered in partnership with ECU.

The year-long Diploma in Sport Business (F00) takes place at our world-class facilities at Mineral Resources Park in Lathlain. You will develop the skills and knowledge to manage people, build relationships, networks, and teams in sport, and become a better leader.

This unique opportunity allows you to learn within the elite environment of the West Coast Eagles and connect with industry experts, engaging with our staff, players, and coaches. You will have access to up to 100 hours of work-integrated learning across various departments within the West Coast Eagles to learn how an AFL club operates, build your professional network and supercharge your resume.

Don’t wait! As places are limited to 80 students, pre-applications are assessed on a first submitted, first assessed basis.

You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent Australian resident or an eligible Visa holder to apply.

Once you submit your pre-application form to the West Coast Eagles it will be considered for progression to an ECU application, subject to meeting ECU eligibility requirements.

Company Overview

The West Coast Eagles are a professional sporting club based in Perth, Western Australia (Whadjuk Noongar). The Club formed in August 1986, playing its first official match for premiership points in 1987. Our women’s side played its first game for AFLW premiership points in February 2020. Since then, the club has enjoyed significant success, winning premierships in 1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018. The club also has wide-spanning community and regional programs and is invested in a number of charity organisations, including the Waalitj Foundation. The club’s headquarters are at Mineral Resources Park, Lathlain and the team plays at the state of the art 60,000 seat capacity Optus Stadium. All current job opportunities are advertised below.
