The role
No two days are the same.
As a Lifestyle Support Worker, you will provide tailored, person‑centred support to clients, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Provide social support, community access and meaningful engagement
- Implementing behaviour support strategies and responding to behaviours of concern
- Promoting autonomy, choice and independence
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting holistic and consistent care outcomes
Location
Sunshine Coast
Work hours
We provide 24/7 care, with shifts offered on a rotating roster, including:
- Monday to Sunday between 6:00am – 8:00pm
- Short shifts ranging from 2 to 6 hours
- Sleepover shifts
- Flexible scheduling options
About you
You are:
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules
- Calm, confident and professional
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Committed to learning and ongoing professional development
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Experienced in managing and responding to behaviours of concern
- Ability to work a part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in the following: Manual Handling, Safe Transfers, Personal Care & Mobility Support
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care), Community Services, or other relevant qualification or studying towards
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- QLD Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
