Description

We’re looking for a creative Community Fundraising Manager to lead a dynamic program that inspires individuals and communities to fundraise, connect and make a real impact. This role is at the heart of how our community shows up for Wayside.

About you

You’ll lead the execution of a community fundraising portfolio:

  • Develop and identify a community fundraising strategy that grows income, reach and engagement
  • Identify new opportunities for community fundraising and build a sustainable pipeline of supporter growth
  • Lead on run, challenge and community-led fundraising initiatives
  • Ensure every fundraiser feels valued, supported and thanked
  • Partner with the Marcomms team to amplify campaigns
  • Manage external suppliers and agencies, as well as volunteer opportunities, to deliver high-quality initiatives
  • Track performance, analyse results and refine strategies.

About you:

You’re someone who can see the big picture and make it happen.

  • Proven experience delivering successful community or events-based fundraising programs
  • Experience building supporter journeys that drive engagement and loyalty
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Creative thinking
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

Whilst not required, these skills will be highly valued:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Digital fundraising and campaign experience
  • A relevant qualification in Event Management, Fundraising, Marketing, Business or a similar field
  • Experience working in the NFP or community services sector
